Shipping & Store Policies.

Flat Rate shipping (selected at checkout) provided by USPS/FedEx for $10.99 Eastern US /13.99 Western US.

It costs nearly the same to ship 1 or 2 jars as it does to ship 10 jars. Stocking up is the most economical way to purchase V Smiley Preserves (VSP).

Orders are generally processed and shipped within three business days of order receipt.  

VSP ships packages via United States Postal Services (USPS) & FedEx. 

VSP ships packages to Canada via FedEx Ground. 1-3 jars ship for $20, 3+ jars ship for $24. Recipient is responsible for any duties assessed by Canada.

FedEx is the recommended carrier for their service and customer care BUT Fedex doesn’t ship to PO Boxes.  

Keep in mind that for West coast shipments, FedEx is often going to be the economical choice for larger/bulkier packages (orders $200 and up). What does that mean in practice? If you select Flat Rate Shipping for a PO Box on the Western side of the country, V Smiley Preserves will reach out and confirm a home address so we have the option to send your package via FedEx and make the under-market-rate VSP Flat Fee shipping doable for us.

Flat Rate Shipping considerations to keep in mind as you choose your shipping option: Depending on the size and destination of the product, we choose between FedEx and USPS to find the most economical shipping option. Some examples…bulky parcels (12+ jars / Gifts Sets) shipped to the West coast typically ship via FedEx Home Delivery, which takes 4-5 days to travel cross country. USPS Priority Mail can sometimes move packages to the West Coast from Vermont more swiftly than FedEx Home Delivery. There are always exceptions and certain USPS distribution areas move more quickly than others.

On time FedEx Ground and Express and USPS deliveries are not guaranteed by the company.

V Smiley Preserves reserves the right to contact customers and update shipping costs with you for extenuating circumstances.

All packages are tracked. You receive tracking information via email once the package ships. 

V Smiley Preserves is not responsible for lost or stolen packages. If product arrives damaged please contact us via the Contact form or by replying to your emails from V Smiley Preserves. 

V Smiley Preserves is not responsible for packages delayed due shipper issues.

V Smiley Preserves does not accept returns for food items. All food sales are final. 

Merchandise (non edible items): if you are unsatisfied with your V Smiley Preserves merchandise purchase you may return or exchange your item within 14 days. Merchandise should be returned in its original condition for refund. Original shipping and handling fees are non-refundable and the customer must pay shipping fees associated with returning. Once your return is processed we will promptly issue a credit to your credit card. For exchanges, please send us pictures (reply to your shipping confirmation/tracking emails) of your product(s).
